They are particularly useful where the LPG feedstock is a mixture of propane and butane in providing a constant homogenous vapour output, by avoiding preferential distillation of the lighter hydrocarbon fractions.
On LPG service the vapour output range is from 24 Kgs/hr to 520 Kgs/hr. Other sizes can be made to meet individual requirements.
Depending on the method of operation the final vapour can be in a superheated state, thus reducing the problems of downstream condensation or reliquefaction.
These vaporisers have, with slight modifications in design and materials, been used successfully on a range of other liquefiable gasses including, Ammonia, Chlorine, Hydrogen Chloride, Ethylene etc..
